How it works

The Daily board is an auction for one banner slot at the top of the homepage. The minimum bid is the current highest paid bid plus $1, or $1 if nobody has bid yet today. Bids are paid up front and every banner is reviewed before it goes live. At 00:00 UTC the winner is archived in Past Winners and the price resets to the $1 floor. A bid placed in the final 10 minutes extends the close by 10 minutes, up to 60 extra minutes per day.

The All-Time Legends board is a permanent leaderboard. It never resets. Entries are ranked by the total amount an account has bid, and you can add to your total at any time with a top-up. The number one entry is shown as a large banner at the top of the board.

The first 20 accounts to place a qualifying paid bid on either board earn a permanent Founding Bidder spot. The spot is kept even after you are outbid. Each account counts once, across both boards.

The directory lists websites by category. Free listings are reviewed by hand and ask you to show our small badge on your page. Featured listings cost $9 one-time, are pinned at the top of their category with a badge and logo, and do not require a badge. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live.

Every banner and every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live. If a paid banner or a paid Featured listing is rejected, the payment is refunded in full. Bids that are outbid before going live are also refunded. A banner that was approved and went live is not refundable.
