Content policy
Every banner is reviewed by a human before it goes live.
Not allowed
- Adult or sexually explicit content.
- Illegal products, services or activity.
- Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, deceptive funnels.
- Malware, drive-by downloads, cloaked or redirecting links.
- Hate speech, harassment or targeted abuse.
- Misleading claims, fake testimonials, guaranteed-returns pitches.
- Impersonation of brands or people you don't represent.
Also rejected
- Images that mimic system alerts, cursors or fake buttons.
- Flashing or seizure-risk animation.
- Destination pages that differ materially from the banner.
Enforcement
Rejected before going live: full refund. Removed after going live for a policy breach: no refund. Repeat offenders are blocked from bidding.
Directory
- Featured directory placement costs $9 as a one-time payment. Free and paid listings are both reviewed before going live.
- Free listings must show the small "Listed on GetBannerBid" badge on the submitted page. We check for it automatically; if the badge is removed later, the listing is hidden until it is back. Featured listings do not need a badge.
- Paid listings rejected during review are refunded in full to the original payment method. Paid listings taken down for a policy violation are also refunded.
- Directory placement does not guarantee traffic, search rankings or sales.
- Paid directory links are marked rel="sponsored".
- Adult, illegal, scam, misleading or malware websites are not allowed.
These directory terms are separate from the Daily auction and All-Time board rules.
