What is GetBannerBid?
GetBannerBid is a banner auction website. The highest bid wins the top banner spot on the homepage. There is also a permanent All-Time Legends leaderboard and a website directory.
How much does it cost?
Daily bids start at $1, and the minimum is always the current highest paid bid plus $1. All-Time entries and top-ups also start at $1. A Featured directory listing is a $9 one-time payment, and a standard directory listing is free.
What size should my banner be?
Banners should be 1200x300 pixels, a 4:1 ratio. We accept PNG, JPG or WebP files up to 1 MB. The headline is limited to 60 characters.
What happens if my banner is rejected?
Every banner is reviewed by a person before it goes live. If your paid banner is rejected, you get a full refund. The same applies to paid Featured directory listings.
What is the difference between Daily and All-Time?
The Daily board is a 24-hour auction that resets at 00:00 UTC, when the winner is archived and the price returns to $1. The All-Time Legends board never resets and ranks entries by the total amount bid, so your position is permanent.
Do I need an account?
Browsing the boards, the winners archive and the directory needs no account. To place a bid you sign in with Google, so your bids, refunds and Founding Bidder spot are tied to you. Submitting a site to the directory does not require an account.
How does the directory work?
You submit your site with a name, link, tagline and category, and every listing is reviewed by hand before it goes live. Free listings ask you to show our small badge on your page. Featured listings cost $9 one-time, are pinned at the top of their category and do not require a badge.
Does bidding guarantee traffic or sales?
No. Winning the banner spot or a leaderboard position guarantees placement, not results. We make no promise of traffic, rankings or sales.
